Violations of PSC Shooting Hours Continue
In spite of numerous reminders and warnings posted on the PSC website and in the Bullseye, a handful of members are still blatantly ignoring the posted and published shooting hours for our club. These members don't seem to care that they are risking our longstanding good relationship with our neighbors, so the Board is left with no alternative other than canceling their membership and they will not be allowed to renew next year.
Video surveillance cameras were installed primarily to prevent vandalism and to catch those responsible, but they serve a dual purpose by making it possible to monitor shooting before or after the posted shooting times. We have sufficient information to identify one of the two most recent violators and a "wanted poster" has been posted at the sign-in desk for the other. Both of these individuals shot well after shooting hours and didn't bother to sign in when they arrived. It is obvious why they did not, but PSC Rules require everyone on PSC property to sign in and out, so this is yet another violation.
The last thing the Board wants to do is cancel anyone's membership, as evidenced by the numerous warnings, signs and "shooting lights" that have been used for over a year. However, we cannot and will not allow a handful of members cause us a problem with our neighbors. We will identify the one member from the information we have and a "reward" of free membership is offered on the "wanted poster" posted at the range.
The Board.
