Orientations
To join PSC you must attend a New Member Orientation. Currently orientations are held twice a month. Some are on Saturday mornings (8:45AM), some are on Sunday afternoons (3:15 PM) and some are on Monday evenings (6:15 PM). Look at the Calendar page to see when the specific schedule. It would also be helpful if you read the Club rules before attending orientation.
You must register for orientation ahead of time. To register for an orientation go to the Event Registration page. Find an Orientation date that is convenient and register for it. Please submit a separate registration for each person who will attend.
Orientations normally lasts 2 ½ to 3 hours, including time to make up new member badges.
The normal full year dues is $ 150.00. Our membership year is July 1 to June 30, and dues are prorated during the year. There is a one-time initiation fee of $50.00 when you first join, and there is tax on the total. All of this is payable at orientation.
For payment please bring a check. Cash is acceptable but you need to bring exact change. We have no way to take credit/debit cards at orientation.
Basic Membership
The basic PSC membership is a family membership. You may bring family members to the range with you any time. For our purposes family members are your spouse and children who live in the home with you up to 21 years of age or 23 if a full time student.
You may also bring up to 2 guests at any time.
The general rule is that family members and guests must be physically in your presence to be able to shoot or handle firearms. However, for family members we have an Associate Card available.
To get an Associate Card the family member must be at least 18 years of age, up to 21 or 23 if a full time student. Associate Card holders must attend orientation before getting their card.
The Associate Card holder may be on a separate range from you, and, as far as we are concerned, may be at the club when you are not there at all.
Associate Card holders do not have the privilege of bringing guests to the club.
An Associate Card is $ 20.00 per year plus tax, and that is pro-rated during the year for the initial card.
No Associate Cards are available for guests.
100% NRA Club
PSC Shooting Club is a 100% NRA club, meaning every member must be a member of the NRA. Family members, including Associate Card holders do NOT need to be NRA members, but we would certainly encourage them to be. If you are not currently an NRA member you can contact the NRA to establish your membership. As an alternative, at orientation you can give us a separate $ 35.00 check made out to the NRA, and we will process your NRA membership.
