Tom's thoughts on membership ranges.
PSC is a membership range.
You may only shoot if you are a member or a guest of a member.
If you are a looking for a place to shoot today or this weekend, there are plenty of public ranges around.
PSC Members are able to take family and a friend or two to the range anytime. Ok, we do have shooting hours but they are pretty flexable.
While PSC has not limited membership, it is a pain to join. You must be a member of the NRA, you must attend a 2 hour membership orientation, and you must pay "a years" worth of range fee's up front.
While this may discourage the casual shooter, it encourages those shooters that may be a little safer than your average shooter. If you are a prospective member, remember it takes an effort to join, but it's worth it.
